Hello all,
I took about 1000 pix at the memorial day race at summit point this year.  I happened to be in the right spot at the wrong time, kind of.  I was standing in front of the bleachers in T5 and had my camera set on auto (10 frames/second) and I captured what turned out to be a good sequence, so long as the rider is OK now.  I don't know his/her name or if he would be interested in the pix, but here's what i can see from the images:
It was rider #310 in the amatuer class ridding what was either painted to copy or an old corona zuki.  (not "old" but probably a '05 corona team bike)  he high sided in t5 and unfortunately hit the tire wall less than 10 feet after the air fence stopped.  I have a pic of the bike levetating in frame 1, right side/muffler up, riding the tire wall with wheels on tyres in frame 2, and the bike is flipped around in frame 3 with teh dust settling.
If anyone knows who this is, please let me know.
also, if you were in the race and want me to dig through my pix to see if i got any of you, please post back or email.
it's Christmas time and I'm broke and broken (broke my femur for the 2nd time on a bike 2.5 months ago, same leg for the 3rd time...skiing down mammoth mountain 3.5 years ago, riding my hawk down mammoth @ 9000 ft elevation or so being cutoff by a dude on a 05 1000RR 16 months ago, and stupidly riding my friend's XR250 in a cow pasture and grabbin a fist full of throttle for fun at the bottom of the hill...on the way back up to put the bike in his truck and go home!...fell over and broke off the top of my femur
all that being said, i'm done riding and the 'rents say all my bike parts have to go, but i'm still intrigued by them and hopefully, after doing a TON of therapy homework/mtn biking/swimming/etc i'll be able to ski again at the end of this season.  (i got the last 3 closing days in mammoth teaching, save for last july 4th, aka july 4th 2005, june 7th 2004, june 15th 2003 after breaking my tibial plateau skiing too fast and getting a DUI 3 dayz before... MAN, what a GREAT week that was! :wtf:
(live and learn, the man upstairs was telling me to slow down, and i did.)
Thanks for the help,

The rider's name is Jason. He was pretty banged up and was asking if anyone had any shots of his crash. I know that he would like to see what you have. I will forward this to him and let him get back to you. Thanks for posting that you have them.

If you have any of me I'd be interested in seeing those also.  AM # 47 black and gray bike.   thanks

Got any pics of #96 amateur?  Red, yellow and white bike that Steve Long says reminds him of Ronald McDonald!
