RED FLAG FUND RECEIVES 501(c)(3) STATUS

We're excited to announce that the Red Flag Fund has received 501(c)(3) Federal exemption status as a non-profit charity.  Your donations to the Red Flag Fund may be deductable from your taxes per the IRS guidelines for charitable giving (see www.irs.gov or consult your tax professional for details).

If you have already donated to the Red Flag Fund, your donation may still be deductable!  Please contact your tax professional or research this at www.irs.gov for details.

A bit more news on us!

Shirts are being ordered this week and will be available in mid January (we will bring them to the CCS & Wera banquets).

Credit Card Processing is in place, so we can now swipe cards at auctions, as well as take your donation over the phone or via fax.

Online donations are currently available on the site.  This is handled by PayPal, but DOES NOT require a PayPal account!

A very exciting time for us and the perfect way to end 2006!

Have a Happy Holiday season!!

Well that's all exciting and everything, BUT, you forgot to tell them that we also have Red Flag Fund PATCHES available starting right after the new year for $10 each. Now here's the best part, if you have your suit worked on by Barnacle Bill or Spyder Leatherworks, there's no charge to sew the patch on. What a deal!

Everyone watch RRW and other publications for more exciting news on the Red Flag Fund. Jeff and the team are working really hard to make this fund a success!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOOOHOOO! What a freaken ride"

All in due time Jester...  Right now we're running on E for the fund after setting up the credit card processing and ordering shirts, etc.  Gotta get some shirts sold and get funds back in.

We plan on doing a lot, but have to build it along the way, and maintain focus that it's to support injured racers, so if we spend all our money on merchandise but have nothing to distribute, we're not really doing our jobs.  It's a balancing act for sure :-)
