I'm too lazy to look through the rule book.   Can an all-knowing person tell me if a 636 can run in the SuperSport class?

Is there anything you can't run with the 636 that the typical 600 can?

Thanks,

superspud

It's legal for supersport and all typical 600 classes for CCS.

I'm fairly certain that they ARE legal in CCS, but not CRA.

It's benificial to run a 636 instead of the 600. You get the extra 37cc displacement for free! Plus the 05 & 06 636 also come with the slipper clutch just like the 600RR does. I have built many of them and the engines put out 120hp with pump fuel. Yes pump fuel. MR9 will get you to 127hp. U4 gets you about 125hp. That is a supersport legal motor.
Everything is pretty much identical between the 600 & the 636 other than the forks and the rear suspension linkage. There are many parts available for those bikes since Kawasaki sold so many of them since 03.
If you need any advice on the Kawasaki 600 or 636 give me a shout.

Just to clarify in the CRA they are NOT legal in middleweight Supersport, but ARE legal in middleweight Superbike & GP.
