Yamaha announce today that They are going Superbike racing with EBOZ and DiSalvo as pilots.
This, after Hacking wins two number one plates but they tell him just a little more than a week ago they can't ensure they are going Superbike racing in '07 so Jamie goes to Kawasaki.

BBOZ is going to Yamaha to ride Superstock with Josh Herrin who also will ride Supersport

I agree (and Hacker's Dad has confirmed) that Jamie is indeed ticked.  But he was ticked a bit ago. 

The way I've heard the story is that Yammie knew they would participate in SBK in '07 but they only wanted to do so with 2 riders (4 bikes).  Yammie was contractually obligated to EBoz.  I'm not sure whether they were/are obligated contractually to a SBK ride for shocker boy or whether they just view him as their investment in youth. 

Either way, the way I've heard it is that Yammie said they'd financially match any deal Hacker might negotiate with another team, but they wouldn't (and this part's fuzzy) offer/promise/guarantee a BSK to him.  Hence Hacker left Yammie.  A real shame in my mind.  Last year they let Gobert go.  Now Jamie. Jeez, the business side of this business... er... I mean sport really sucks at times.

IIRC, Yamaha was contractually obligated to put EBoz and JD on superbikes.  Hacking would have been left running Supersport & Superstock just like BBoz.
