Ha, im just messing with you guys. Ive never seen the track before so I will just be doing my best to learn it. And yeah 20 laps will be work. We ran the national endurance with WERA at Barber and 40 mins was about my limit on going fast. I could settle in and keep going but a 20 lap sprint race should be interesting.

As far as passing on the straights go, if you havent noticed, I am not exactly built for straightaway speed niether is my motorcycle. But hey theres more corners than straighaways right. But i have something up my sleave to get me a few more horsepower, not to mention I may finally buck up and buy/sniff some VP.

Ohh yeah and KC, bring it.

I thought 20 laps was quite a bit too......hell UNGP is only 10 laps, and the GT races generally end up being under 15.  I emailed Dean and he told me to quit being such a Sally so I guess 20 laps it is. :)

Ha, good to hear. Hey by the way, I found out what the real fast lightweight experts were doing as far as lap times go. Our friend Matt Winnacker, who my dad raced with for a long time and I just did a 4 hour with him, has beaten Mr. Key at gateway, and he told me what lap times they were running  :kicknuts: I dont think you want to know.

Bah, MAM is a super easy track.  You will have it down in no time.

I would poor VP in my SV but I am afraid it would get used to it and not run without it afterwords lol!

Sure I do. I've got a few seconds in reserve. :thumb:  A windscreen would be worth a couple 10ths.

How about 1 '08 (they ran half the laps in the low to mid 108 and the other half in the very low 1'09's). I can see 10's, i think I may have been able to run a 10 last time we were there if i had too and if my rear tire wasnt destroyed, but eights, sheesh thats flying.

The problem with racing ED.... He allways finds that extra second on the last lap. :banghead:

From what I have seen Matt is one of the few guys who can make Ed actually pulll out most of the stops. For the most part I would say Ed has gotten the better of him, but I think Matt has the better record at gateway, now if they were on the same level of motorcycles it may be a different story. I started to count up the national championships between the two and I started to get dizzy, so im not to concerned with even trying to beat them, however when I finally get on my 750 that will be a different story  :thumb: :lmao: Ohh yeah and who spited me.

20 laps at MAM is a long one. lap record is a 1:29 or something like that, and most guys don't get that close to it
