At Jenings GP, Two (or one) weekends ago, Scott Robertson (EX# 91) was broadsided in T1. He was on a brand new Ducati built up by Chris Boy (sp?) (THANKS CHRIS) and the bike was broken pretty badly. Scott broke both his left ankle and his right wrist and received 10 screws (7 on the left side, 3 on the right) and a plate in his ankle. Pease send your wishes to Scott.

Scott is in his 40s, but not sure where he's from originally. I know he raced some years ago so it could be the same rider.

Wow!  That sucks.  He is a great guy and excellent racer.

We old guys are dropping like flies!  I went out at Moroso in August (fractured ankle & G-3 AC tear - hope to be back by Dec) now Scott.

I will contact Mark Tenn (EX-162).  He should have at least an email address for Scott.

I will post any info that's allowed.

Tony.

I remember I was standing in the back of our box truck and I heard a collision and spotted 2 riders, one up and ok and the other motionless on the ground. I later found out it was Scott, after hearing the extent of his injuries I was devastated. I send out the best wishes and hope for a quick recovery.

Thanks guys.  I'll live.  It was one f'd up end to a great weekend.  My Suzuki SV superbike was great and the new Ducati SS was incredible.  During Saturday practice I was waved out of pit lane by the "official" directly into the path of some 16 year old kid who was in the process of crashing.  Apparently my appearance way out by the grass startled him, he didn't bother to continue braking and target-fixated on me.  I'm told he didn't slow down and looked to be going 70-80 when he t-boned me.  I was blessed with only a broken ankle (plate and 10 screws), a broken wrist and an as-yet-to-be-determined neck injury.

If I sound a little bitter it's because I am.  I fully accept the responsibility that goes with the dangers of racing and know that shit happens between competitors.  But to have an official have a brain fart that f*s up my year after working so hard for a class win and a top 10 plate really pisses me off.

Bummer Scott.  You were looking good all year.  ETA on when you will be back in action?  I'm out for the rest of the season.  I went down in August and now I require some surgery to patch me back up.  Hope to be back in Feb.

Heal up quick!

Tony.

This stuff works very well in helping everything knit.  Not expensive, and there are good numbers of people that have used it to get things going quicker in the healing department so they can go back to work, etc.

Scott, Hurry up and heal.
I know this sucks big time. I heard the accident turned around and saw dust. I asked what happened to someone watching they said, the guy instead of turning into turn 1 target fixed on you coming onto the track and ran straight for you, it looked as if he didn't even turn. :kicknuts:
Did Steve tell you he led the entire field in Superbike after turn 1. It was crazy he went around everybody on the outside through 1 like they were standing still. Very impressive. I was so hoping he was going to beat Chris so I could make fun of him forever.
