Photos from Saturday.

They're all sort of mixed up, and not in any real order, so you'll have to sift through all hundred or so of them. Turned out a little better than the Blackhawk photos but they're still not great. Also have to shoot from more than one corner next time.

They've been cropped and compressed a bit, so if you want the hi-res file of any of these just let me know. Feel free to use them for whatever.

Thanks for the tip! Been thinking about a monopod, since there's a lot of blurry going on. Too much coffee in the mornings. 

And that wasn't me at turn 10, sorry, I was the chick with dreads, and never really left turn 1.

Unfortunately I'll probably be missing the 23rd due to gawking at cool old bikes and doing a fire spinning performance at Rockerbox. Might try to make it Sunday though.

Spyderchick - is there anything still going on at 9PM?? If I try to make it down after Rockerbox? We spin at 7PM for about 15 minutes. (Unless it's pouring rain, in which case we cancel. Fire and water don't get along so well.)  I could do an encore spin at Blackhawk for entertainment, as long as everyone isn't so drunk by then that I have to worry about setting people on fire.   
Ok, maybe not.

... and yeah, between the vintage guys and the hippies, the racing would probably be more fun, or at least less smelly. Good thing it's gotten cold. (I'm kidding, I kid, I love the vintage guys)

Gordy usually tries to end the auction by 10 or 11 PM, but it always seems to go 'til midnight. If you know someone at the track, give a call when your done at Rockerbox to see if you want to make the trip.

The auction starts between 6 and 7, unless racing ends early, and then it could start earlier. Since this is Gordy's farewell, it's probably gonna be a pretty good party atmosphere, with all the requisite speeches and hugs. And maybe a racer or 2 in a thong.
