Yet another great weekend!  Hats off to the entire Trackaddix crew and MCRA for making this a super smooth event.  This series will soon be the benchmark that other regions/associations will strive to be!

I had a ton of fun racing with my buddies.  Got first in GTU, 5th in MWSS, 2nd in HWSS, 2nd in LWSB and 3rd in LWGP.

Some amateur ran off in T4, crossed the trackand missed taking out 2 bikes by literal inches
(yeah...I got the video  :boink: ), then passed me, Tim, Brett, and Rich all within a few corners and was gone  :wtf:  Dude was on fire!  8)  Fastest AM I have ever seen, think he was running 7's  :kicknuts:

Yeah, I saw that!  That was some awesome manuvering by all involved!  I would like to see some tape of that.  I was barely hanging on to the back of that train, but alas could not hold the pace and your group slowly pulled away.

I have to say it was great seeing you on the track again Speedballer!   :thumb:

Feels good to completely retire from stunting and come back to roadracing.  Much more intense and exciting.

You'll have to lose the haircut to completely convince me you're not a stunter!

Yeah I was standing by the fence when Henderson almost highsided and went flying through the grass.  Excelent job by all parts to not have that become a VERY bad deal!  That dude was FLYING!!

Great job Dean and the rest of the Trackaddix staff can't wait for next year at Gateway.  I had a great time had one close call when the worlds fastest AM hit me going into turn one.  My R6 has nice battle scar on the right side.

+1. Great job Trackaddix crew. It was fun to be back at Gateway. Looking forward to next season.

Anyone know who the Am 600 rider was who highsided huge out of Medium practice on Sunday morning? How's he doing? I damn near ran over him and his bike and ended up running off the track and lowsiding. When I got up and looked back he was laying there not moving for what seemed like a long time.

I got wrapped up in fixing my bike and never got the chance to find out more info.

I think your refering to Crumb (#133) he was well enough to get out there and race the last race, and just missed the one right after lunch by seconds -literally the 3 board had just gone up.  He's quite the sport and I bet sore as hell today but OK.

Thanks for all the props, as a Grid Marshall I have a hell of a time watchin' the races and hope to be out dicin' it with ya'll next year!  That track is way fun but the proximity of the walls never leaves your mind.

Having a hard time with the 1000, doesn't want to change direction and can't get a drive without spinning up the rear.  Much harder to ride than I thought it would be.  Doesn't seem like I can lean it over as far as my old 600 either.
Thinking I should have bought a 600/750

Ditto that. The Gateway event being the 4th time out on my CBR1000RR, I'm still having difficulties coming to terms with it. I too am thinking that a 1000cc bike has no business at any of these short midwest tracks. But it is a good challenge!

Great dice with Tim Struyk, and finally Rich Degrouse at the end.  Rich had an unreal fast bike, very aggressive rider, and completely different lines, so lots of close calls and checking-up's.....we almost impacted each other prolly 5-6 times.  Great video off my bike  8)  Never was able to get around him.

Dude, as soon as you had a few laps of practice you checked out. I couldn't hang. Sorry for the unothordox lines, I'm still trying to adjust to the 1000cc bike from my old 600 too. Plus I'm having a *VERY* difficult time coping with all these bumpy tracks we have here back in the US. BTW, my CBR is completely stock (stock exhaust and still has the street emission gear installed) that's why you can't hear it.

Boy, it's a handful for sure.  Won't snap over, won't transition, won't lean over as far (less corner speed), and lights the rear everytime you exit.  On a fast track it would (should) RocK...but seemed out of it's element at Gateway for sure. I went just as fast on my 01/600gsxr

Sorry for the unothordox lines

Nothing wrong with your lines Rich, they were just different than mine.  Me + you = bump'n  8)
