Just wanted to say "Thank you" for another very well run race weekend by Trackaddix. Anybody that did not show up, you missed out big time. This is the best organized race weekend, I've ever been a part of.  The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd race calls were perfect, and all races started on time or ahead of schedule.

Dean and Kim, keep up the good work.

Correction.....  Matt Hall won everything that Am. Curt Henderson and some old guy on a 'nekkid' SV didn't win!!!  :kissy:

Nice job Kevin! :thumb:

As far as results, they should be up on MyLaps.com soon.  I understand the internet connection at the track was giving them problems.

And thanks to Kimmie for showing up and planning on being Lonnie and Mitch's wrench (wench?) and then bailed to help me out at Start!!! :kissy:

This has got to relieve me of the YPS title! I never beat up on experts as an amatuer. (Except for K3) :)

It was a lot of fun getting back on that track!  Although, I think Gateway has better traction than any other track! LOL!!  for some reason, I like to set my sights really, really high there... if you know what I'm saying!

It was nice meeting and racing with you James R. and John D.  I had a blast in F40 racing with Randy as well.  Good times...

Trackaddix did a KICK ASS job!  I couldn't hear anything down at my end of the pits due to the PA being out, but it was still easy to follow the races.  My wife was amazed and grateful that we were done before 3.  Thanks TrackAddix (and MCRA) for bringing racing back to Gateway!

great fun this weekend!

Had some great racing with some great people!

Got my first crack at qualifying, very cool.

Got into the 9's

Didnt crash

Brought home some hardware and purse/tire money!

I'll work up a full report later but for now big thanks to Dean and crew for bringing racing back to STL!!  MCRA, couldnt have done it without the support of each and every one of you!

ALL the KC crew for just being so damn cool and fun to race with!  You guys bring something fun to a whole new level, hope to see you all at MAM in October.

My buddies from Columbia... been to long since we've hung out!  Cowboy thanks for coming down and helping out, your advice is priceless!  And of course the local fast guys for giving me a carrot to chase all weekend!

Tim

Oh and finally and HUGE thanks to the damn skunk that blasted my pooch saturday night... kept me up scrubbing the poor guy till midnight  :finger:

There is nothing like racing with your buddies! Thanks to Dean and your staff for a well run, safe and fun weekend, and a :thumb: for bringing racing back to Gateway. I had a blast, good times chasing and being passed by Scott, watching Timmay rail the carousel (and wash the skunk off of Prince), Matt Hall's silky smoothness, the KC crew battles, Becca's giving the boys hell and meeting/seeing new and old friends. Hope to see many of you at Hastings!

Everytime I get back from a weekend I think that I just had the funnest weekend....They all are always great.
Ive been away for a long time, so it was nice to meet a lot of super cool new people.

My first time racing since April 03, so real rusty.  Lots of butterflys at 3rd call :ahhh:
Having a hard time with the 1000, doesn't want to change direction and can't get a drive without spinning up the rear.  Much harder to ride than I thought it would be.  Doesn't seem like I can lean it over as far as my old 600 either.
Thinking I should have bought a 600/750

5th in GTO on Saturday.  Drew Nash had a 20 second lead on 2nd.  I was the 4th bike in a pack of 4 (Mitch Stien, Rich Degrouse, Mark 'Nude' Nudelmier,  me).  Snapped of my toe-shift-lever at the halfway mark, and was having issues trying to shift the shift-arm-linkage w/ my heel.  Fun race though.

Skipped practice and qualifying on Sunday, due to my rear tire frying off in Sat GTO.  Wanted it to last as long as possible.

5th in a CRAZY UNLTD GP.  First time on track that day, so kinda just trying to get my head together.
Great dice with Tim Struyk, and finally Rich Degrouse at the end.  Rich had an unreal fast bike, very aggressive rider, and completely different lines, so lots of close calls and checking-up's.....we almost impacted each other prolly 5-6 times.  Great video off my bike  8)  Never was able to get around him.
I could hear Tim Struyk's bike right behind me the whole time, so rode a blocking line  :ass:
Brett Swain must have taken a shot of adreneline(sp), cause he was a maniac on a mission for the first 2/3rds of the GP....wow!  He was flying.
Some amateur ran off in T4, crossed the trackand missed taking out 2 bikes by literal inches
(yeah...I got the video  :boink: ), then passed me, Tim, Brett, and Rich all within a few corners and was gone  :wtf:  Dude was on fire!  8)  Fastest AM I have ever seen, think he was running 7's  :kicknuts:

Then 3rd in a 4 bike grid UNLTD SB, so not so good.
Personal best though, was feeling more confident for second race and tucked in behind Drew Nash to run mid to high 9's (best 1:09.60).  Again, great video footage of Nudelmier and Nash.

I had an absolute blast.  This is the first season where I am actually learning about geometry and bike set-up, suspension etc.
Feels good to completely retire from stunting and come back to roadracing.  Much more intense and exciting.
