Racing is like having a crack habit. Please, will someone shoot me before I end up not having two cents to rub together!!

For all the money I have spent on my Ducati 750SS, I could have bought 2  SV650s. But NOOOO, I had to race a Ducati.  ::) Why!!...., because I don't want to race anything else, that's why. I just have to be different! Yep, I am SICK. The only difference between my high and the high a crack-head gets,  is that my thrill lasts a whole weekend.

Then there's the excitement of acquiring new drug paraphernalia like New Keihin carbs. (even if they are borrowed) The bike pulls REAL HARD now. It feels like a new bike with these Keihins. I should have gotten them sooner.

I also got a like new rear magnesium Marchesini rim. :D  I am no longer restricted to running a 160 rear and can now use any brand tire. Plus, I now have a bigger rear contact patch, Yepee!!  So what if I can't run in the SuperSport class anymore, there are plenty others I can race in.

Well, excuse me now while I go stuff my pipe for the up coming weekend.

And you could have bought 4 FZR 400's ;).

Ah, if I only had a crack habbit...

Maybe it would be less expensive...

What was that thread awhile back?  Road Racers Anonymous or something?  Yeah.  he belongs there.
Oh, and I understand about the Keihens.  Every true motorcycle junkie should own a set before they die.  It's just a shame that with fuel injection and ram air becoming the dominant setup, future generations will never hear the glorious honk of four wide-open bellmouths at redline.
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

i think about my addiction all the time, and yes, i'm firmly committed to the belief that it is an addiction.

Then I started wondering--think this addiction is a close relative of gambling addictions?  We both spend lots of money up front in the hopes of getting a thrill/rush with the possibility of a return.

how long you've been 333?

And don't worry, I think i'm due a 2 digit this season. :D

I've been 333 for four seasons.  I could have taken a double digit, but I really love my number.  We've had a lot of ups and downs together.  Pun intended... ;)
