Do or do not, there is no "try".

Damn, it took you 3 weeks to write the BHF round and you were done with this one in one day... You must really love Gman!

Don't give up on your dreams! If an illiterate like K3 can write a book, imagine what you can do!

Jeff

For anyone interested in "slumming it" and reading the report of a newbie here's the recount of my weekend:

I was a bit dissapointed not meeting my personal expectations. I had hoped to run at least within 1 to 2 seconds of the winning laptimes but could barely manage to stay within 5 seconds.
: (

The new bike still needs a few tweaks, but that was not the issue at Gingerman. Mostly rider error. I have no idea how you guys go so fast on that track. The 3 strips of pavement were extremely unnerving and unsettling (if hit incorrectly).

My hats off to you dudes who were ripping it up!

I'm hoping that it will be a little easier transition to US track riding from Japan while at  Barbers. I'm hoping it has a wider, smoother surface to work with. I'm very interested in seeing how bad the bone stock CBR gets smoked down the straights there.

Word...

Jeff

the seams at gingerman either work for you or against you, and it's mostly a mental thing.  If you fear them and let them get in your head they will slow you down at every turn.

If you ride over them and constantly use them as a reference point (hey! I know what 1/3 of the track I'm supposed to be on right now!), you can and will do very well...  It's just something to get used to.
