Does this race always start with the am and ex taking off together? I was cought a little off guard as the starter prepared to wave the flag I saw all the am guys tacking up for launch also. I thought some of these guys are going to go with the experts. Then go they all took off together! I was semi prepared and took off only a half second later but it was late enough to drop me to almost dead last going into turn 1. So what races have a 2 wave start and wich ones have single wave start? :wtf:

I dunno how it is in your region, but the MW races that I've been to always post 2 wave on the starting grid papers if it will be a 2 wave start. Also, they put out a big 2 wave board sign to let everyone know, and when you see that you are suppose to put your hand up until after the 1st wave takes off.

+1 Yeah you should always look at your grid sheet at least a couple times before the race and another time 5 minutes before and you should be good.lol  Also they will have a 2nd Wave board being held up if it is indeed 2 waves. This last w/e at HPT there was some confusion although the grid clearly marked a single wave and you can always ask the grid Marshall before hand.
