I was looking to see if my bike was supersport legal. the new racer package says that supersport is basically stock minus a pipe and jet kit.

Do they allow aftermarket rear shocks? Power Commanders in place of jet kits? After market clip-ons and rearsets? After market brake rotors? Adjustable cam sprockets?

Is it basically no internal engine modifications?

Thanks

SS legal:

Aftermarket shock
Re-done Fork Internals
Power Commander
Aftermarket clip ons and rear sets
Brake rotors IF made of ferrous material (no carbon) and same dimensions as OEM.

No on adj. cam sprockets to my knowledge.

Thanks for the reply, I looked over the 2002 rule book and couldn't find anything on the rear shock. Didn't mention the cam sprockets, just stock cams were a requirement. Looked almost like the AMA supersport rules where adjustable cam sprockets are allowed and head shaving is allowed.

Anyone else with any imput?

You can advance or retard the stock cams in SS.

I beleive you have to use stock master cylinders also. They actually allow overbore as long as you don't bump compression over OEM.

After market master cylinder is legal; after market brake lines are legal, aftermarket brake pads are legal, after market brake rotor made of ferrous material same diameter as stock, but stock caliper required
