Guy, I had some other stuff going on, work and what not. Not to mention that whole money thing. But we are leaving tomorrow for topeka. Are you going to be racing this weekend? And about that whole expert downgrade thing, My uncle hasnt raced since 1996 and 150 pounds ago, but they wouldnt let him downgrade to am., needless to say he had a rough time at road america. Im not saying this to argue about Mike, I dont know Mike though im sure he is a great guy, Im just commenting that this rule apparently isnt stead fast.

I am not going to Topeka, not enough cash.  I think who you are dealing with at CCS to get the down grade could effect what the results are.  I don't care one way or the other.  Mike did what he felt was right for his situation.  I really was just jerking Mike's chain, I did not mean to start anther fourm contraversy.

I am sorry; I will probably have to stop leaving my canopy standing around too.  See it just happens.  Anyone have the number of a good therapist?  I need help!!!!

I keep hearing voices inside telling me  "I am a big burley biker trapped inside this skinny twerps body"  Is this normal??

Just got off the phone with Nate Doebert (#88) expert.

He has yet to see his bike, so he wasn't too thrilled to hear about the cracked frame!

He has a bruised lung, broken scapula, and a few broken ribs.  He got out of the hospital Monday evening and is recovering at home.

Well tell him its just a little crack.

OK...put the titanium down, and slowly back away. No! no no no no no! You cannot pick up the CF. Now go back to your safe place and repeat your mantra:
I really did win a race. That makes me cool. People like me now. No need to yell at others any more!  :lmao:

Folks,

Thanks for all the kind words - I'm doing OK. Broken collarbone, a few bruised ribs and a black eye, but overall I'm fine. I'll be back sometime later this season or next. Until then, ride fast, ride safe, and try to give the other guy a little space. See you at the track and thanks again for everyone's concern. Keep the shiny side up.

Julian,

Hope you heal quick.  I raced with you during the '04 season (gray/white SV650 #91) and it was always clean and fun.  I was bummed that John Fox got hurt that year as you two were pulling me along faster!

Here's to a speedy and full recovery.
