I was interested in trying some 16.5" Bridgestone slicks since I saw how much they're paying in contingency $, but I've been told that they're not available in the states.  Anyone know any information about them or when they might bring them over here?  Dunlop and Michelin 16.5s are readily available so I don't understand why Bridgestone would be lagging.

Do you have any contact info for them?  I did a search and came up with 100 car tire dealers.

Or contact City Garage Racing in St. Louis or Track Addix...  They both distribute Bridgestones.

Trust me when I say there are no Bridgestone 16.5" slicks in the US..... And there will not be for the forseeable future.

There is one man that can bring them over, that is Bob Graham. Currently he is not interested in doing so.. You would be wasting a call requesting that of him too... UNless there are about 100 legitimate people interested, then maybe...

Yeah, I spent yesterday trying to track someone down to explain the situation to me.  It just appears that they aren't really in any hurry to bring them here.  It looks as if the only thing that could change it is an AMA team switching... and that's unlikely.  Guess I'm stuck on Dunlops for the time being... great tires, crappy contingency.

according to the contingency payout form bridgestone is paying for asra classes, it doesn't say anything about ccs classes. Can anyone clear this up and how do you register with bridgestone?

Page down to the second page, the CCS stuff is down there.  Bridgestone is the most supportive tire company contingency-wise... $200 a win
