Is everyone ok?  A couple people took a trip to the hospital  :-[
I have a picture of someone who highsided and their bike landed completely on top of them!  It was a bad scene

I highsided in turn 5 on Sunday during the AM MW supersport race.....I'm alright....torn legements, but alright.  If you have pics I'd like to see them.  Hope everyone else is OK!

My brother broke his femur completely in two pieces about 4 cm above the knee.  :'(

Had it operated on Sunday.  Looks like he's going to be fine though...  I guess it looked like Theisman's old video, except it was above the knee...  :o

Thanks to all the medical staff and cornerworkers at the track, you all did a great job and it is much appreciated...

Glad to read your injuries aren't more severe unter_kid...

Iam still trying to figure out what happend myself on friday ???

HAWK

I was involved in the 2 bike crash in the carosel Saturday in the GT Lights race, Broken ankle, bumps and bruises but I'll be fine in a few weeks.

Not quite what I had in  mind for a season opener but them's the breaks right.

A big thanks to the Corner Worker (who's name I didn't get) for helping me and my bike to safety and to the Ambulance Crew for their help and advice, and to the Driver who got me back to my pits. As much as I hated to test you guys I'm very thankful for the professional support you give us out there.

I saw that...I was in corner 5 and saw the whole thing(camera was pointed down) it was like slow motion!  The bike just keep bouncing and flipping untill finally it flipped over the tires.  I was kinda worried...I didn't see him move at all and the corner worker stopped it instantly.

I saw that also, I was the photog in the tree's next to corner worker (Jim?) I believe.  I have you tumbling a bit, but he jumped over the dirt wall so fast he whited out my pics :)  That looked like a nasty one as well.

Sunday was insane. I never seen so many crashes in a weekend much less a day.  :o Sunday was my first day driving the crash truck (well with MY truck since the tracks truck wouldnt start :D ). Had a couple repeat "customers" also. ;D Had a few confused moments, pissed off moments (people who just stood in the middle of the road when you tried to come through with the trailer and VERY LITTLE KIDS on foot scooters just riding around without supervision) and being the track gopher :D .

Hey Scott,

Sorry to hear about your brother (Randy?).
We have a few pics of it. Total bummer, I was looking forward to running with you guys in the F40.
Let me know if you want hi res copies.
Great Job in the rest of your races, it was fun watching one of us F40 dudes doing well.

Best Wishes for a fast recovery for your Bro!

Thanks Paul.  He's doing pretty well.... a little bummed and depressed, but that's to be expected.

I would like the high res pics when you get a chance...

I know, I was looking forward to the F40 race as well.   I mentioned it in the other thread, but I never did see anyone by your bike when going by your pits.  Plus, we were pitted out on the entrance road so tended to stay over there, but I was looking forward to meeting you.  What's your next race.

LOL on the other races.  Thanks for the compliment though.  I couldn't believe I didn't get passed by like 5 guys (as usual) on the first turn! :)  I think the fast dudes showed up on Sunday cause I didn't have enough to hang with them, but it was still fun!

Hey Scott,

sorry man, we were doing alot of running around, but don't be shy, make sure you look in the Polar-Optics trailer
(I'm the old dude usually wearing a hat with a big grin on my face:) ).
We are doing at least the midwest ccs schedule possibly some great plains, along with PTT, NESBA and some STT when we can.
Are you using the same email? Let me know and I'll send the shots one at a time. Approx 3meg each with a total of 3.
If you want to see them 1st, they are up at  http://www.polar-optics.com/Polar-Optics%20LLC_files/BHF%20Sat%20May%206%202006.htm
Look about 2/3's  of the way down the page of thumbs. (WARNING, if you zoom in, it's not pretty).

Hope to see you guys at the next one.

Hawk,
I was the other rider in the two bike crash, sorry to hear about your ankle.  I looked around for you Sunday to see how you were doing,  but obviously you had already left.  I know it won't help your healing process, but when we hit, the impact was enough to bend the rear axle on my bike, to the point that the rear wheel wouldn't turn.  I landed flat on my back and was just stiff for a few days.
I also would  like to thank the corner workers and safety crew for their excellence and professionalism.
I'm sorry we bumped, I'm sorry you got hurt, but given the impact, I'm glad it wasn't any worse for either of us.  Heal quick, Formula 40 needs you.
