Im gonna do the nesba weekend at puntam this weekend seeing as i got my bike back last night.

Due to it being the last minute im gonna try some Dunlops for the weekend.

I have the choice of the 208 slicks  or the 209 dots.

I never ran dunlops so i have no exp with them.

Seeing as its only a track day  i dont care about needing a SuperSport tire.   are the 208 slicks better than the newer 209 dot ??

any suggestions?
Usually i run the michelin  PR, but can get them in time, so i figured id try out the dunlops.

Get the DOT's (209's). That way if you dont like them you can give them to me so I can use them on my street bikes (as long as they are 120/180 setup) ;D ;D

I've never heard of a 208 slick, but either one will be more than enough.  I say go with the one that's cheaper.

hi
I used to dunlops all last year and they are good but don't last as long as the mic.
I would start with a dot 208 med/med will feel similar to the pr2/pr5 the 209 rear is for liter bikes and is an inch taller as in 2 teeth less gear and less tire clerance.

get them up to temp and they will grip from the very first turn.
