Do I save any money if I pre-enter for my first race at Homestead 2/9?  I will be taking the Kinsey School the 8th and getting my license that weekend.  I would love to be able to pay for my license and first weekend of racing now so I have a few less things to worry about.  Please let me know.

Thanks!

You cannot pre-enter a race without a current license.

Pre-registration nevers save you money, it just gets you a better grid position. Since you will be taking the class, the grid position does not matter (they make you start last on your first weekend.)

Do not worry about the timing, you will have plenty of time as long as your bike passes tech. Your class starts around 8:30 am and then Frank gives you the lowdown on where to go next, etc. Your sessions are spaced far enough apart where you do not have any time problems.

I was really anxious (I did the class at Homestead as well) but everything was pretty low key.
