r1 gearing and shift points for summit

Thinking about going to summit point this weekend and I'm needing advice on gearing for my r1. Really I only have two choices, stock gearing or drop a tooth up front. Any advice on shift points would be greatly appriciated too, as I won't have much time to get up to speed. Thanks, Bryan

what year R1 the stock gearing is to tall fore just about any track so id start with droping 1 up front. as for shift point id shift right before red line. :)

its an 02 r1. I'll bring both front sprockets and figure it out. Thanks for ur help and I'll look you up when I get there.
