We killed the Ducati Generator

While building a new exhaust for our too-loud generator, we decided to go with a Ducati theme.





Didn't work out.





We are rebuilding today, making the 'super exhaust'.  I will post pix as soon as done.

I won't admit to it, but it would sure seem so  ;)

We cut the generator's dolly in half and removed 8" from it's width so it doesn't take up as much room in the truck.




And we are in the middle of super-sizing the exhaust system on it.



Yeah, maybe I will have to admit we do indeed have too much time to goof off  :D

Wait til ya see the gas tank we are rigging up on it  8)

i put about the same size muffler(maybe even bigger) on my generator last year. problem is, the sound coming from the motor is what was so loud, not so much the exhaust. i pulled the added muffler off.

Same with my motorhome.  I have a muffler for a small import car on it now.  The exhaust is quiet, but the mechanical noise is deafening.
