Michelin contingency

Anyone received the new Michelin contingency card yet?  I spoke with Frank Kinsey at Jennings last month and he said the new cards would be forthcoming.  The old "Team Michelin" cards are no longer being updated. According to Frank the new card will be a "Visa" type credit card, except they can only be used for Michelin tires. I haven't received one, and I haven't heard of anyone else getting theirs yet.  Do we need to re-register with Michelin or something? Any hard info would be greatly appreciated.  Hell, I would appreciate any rumors, speculations, or even outright fabrications at this point.

no need to reregister. they will be sent to you once there is some credit on them.

What about the credit that's out there from last year?  Can we use the old card to use it up?

i think you will be using up your SmartCard balance, then your new card.

the new card will arrive at some point and any $ left from the old smart cards will transfer on to the new card. The smart cards are done, kaput, no-more..
