get the xt.  way more user friendly interface and will trigger better off xt or mychron beacons.

Well the tables have tipped. That they can use each others beacons makes me think that the XT is the better buy since they use the same beacon (just flip a switch) for start/finish or split. Seems the MyChron requires a special split beacon for split feature.

I've used and destroyed both.  I continue to use the XT's.
