Just in case the schedule isn't changed and so you feel better, the breaks are pretty good.  You won't have time to go back to your pit, though.  Just make sure you have someone to meet you at the wall with fuel for the bike and a drink.  You'll have to stop down by start/finish because of your transponder.  Don't forget your fire extinguisher, too, while fueling.  If you're prepared, you'll be ready to go when it's time.

Doesn't this just weed out who's done their cardio this winter anyway?   ;)

I agree with Jeremy on this one. Why can't the schedule be changed? I understand that all of the materials have been printed and distributed and it would take an ungodly effort to fix that. However all of the riders should be at the morning meeting, make the announcement there and again a few races before the LW runs.   The last thing we need to do at Road America is take a break.  Usually with the iffy weather we end up running shorter races or have the last few races at a different location anyway.

I agree with Jeremy.  Doesn't sound like a whole lot of thought was put into the schedule.

Gotchya, adjustments will be made on both ends, more than likely, and you did the right thing by calling Ft Worth to talk with Kevin or Eric.

I'm in agreement, Jeremy.

I've brought it up at times, but I've been shot down.

Additionally, if you have to go to tech for an air filter check or something, the time is running on your tires cooling down if you can only afford one bike for many classes, as most of us do.

Then you have to go jump into a meat grinder like ULGP with cold tires.  Would be logical to place certain classes between each other to separate classes that do not have similar bikes in them to keep racers racing as many classes as they can afford to race with a greater margin of safety.
