Hey Gang,
There seems to be some confusion among the racing community regarding the CCS Midwest region and the TrackAddix Great Plains region and whose entry forms to use for what races.  I thought I would take a moment to make some clarifications for everyone..

Kevin Elliott and the CCS main headquarters operate the Midwest region.

CCS no longer operates the Great Plains region.  This region has been taken over by TrackAddix and is being operated as an independant race series with sanctioning from the CCS.

There are 2 races in the TrackAddix GP that cross over and combine with CCS MW and ASRA events.  Road America in April and Heartland Park in June.  These 2 events will be operated by the CCS main office, so you should use their entry forms and send them directly to CCS.

All events at Mid-America Motorplex, Motorsports Park Hastings, Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, and Gateway International Raceway will be operated by TrackAddix, so you should go to our website, print and complete our entry forms, and send them directly to us.  Here is a link to the TrackAddix GP side of our website.

Please pay particular attention to the left menu bar to find the information you are looking for.  All of those things are links you can click on to find the info you are looking for.  To find info about a particular race event, click on the date for the event.

Also, thoroughly review the FAQ section to find more helpful information.

We realize it will take this season for everyone to adapt to the new changes.  We have worked very hard to create a race series that we think you will enjoy.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us either by email or by phone, toll free at 866-92-TRACK.

Thanks and we look forward to racing with you this season.

Dean,

You should talk to Kevin about getting this put up on his website.  Funny enough, I had JUST printed out my pre-reg for MAM when I saw this post.  It obviously changes things as the fees are higher, and you don't take American Express.

But in any event, reading this saved me a headache (as well as you & Kevin).

Dave/Dawn.  Sticky perhaps?

I might add something that I learned from Dean from a conversation a few weeks ago that will help.  On the pre-reg forms pay for everything-gate fee's, practice, transponder, etc...  That way when you go through the registration line at the track they just pull your form-hand you that and your transponder and your gone.  This will save lots of time and headaches at registration.  I think everyone here knows that the line takes FOREVER even going through the pre-reg line so hopefully this will drastically speed up the process and make everyone's lives easier.

I think Dean is working very hard at making this a very enjoyable experience for everyone-thanks man!

Jeff

I do like the fact that I can pay for gate fees ahead of time, but dislike the added charges (but accept them as such is life).

The one question I have on gate fees...  I'll be coming in Friday night.  Do I need to pay for the Friday day gate pass or can I get away with the sat/sun?  I was planning on just spending the extra $20 since I don't want to get turned away, but if I can save it I'd like to...

Jeff,
If you don't plan on riding Friday and won't arrive until the late afternoon or later, then you only need to pay for the Saturday/Sunday gate pass.

Here is a link to our FAQ section that will explain our fee structure.

Also, read FAQ number 15 for an explaination of the Practice fee.
