You can be in the Midwest or Great Plains.  You are a straight shot north of Mid America which host three rounds for GP.  The Midwest series will take you to MI twice for Gingerman. So it is really up to you, but I know a lot of the CRA (Many from MN) are doing the Great Plains as well this year.  Check out the schedule:

and decide where you would rather drive and race.

Ultimately it doesn't matter.  A MW license will not prohibit you from running GP races, or vice versa.

I believe CCS does this by the geographical location of the racer, to help them.  However, it really does not matter.  If they license you as GP and you only run MW races, you are contending for MW points, etc...

Ya thanks Jeff i understand all of this and i will be competing in the MW i was just wondering if anyone new what Geographical area i live in (MN 55056) so that i can look at what #'s are avalibale in the region that im going to be licensed in. (that way i can request a number that is not already being used so i will have a better chance of getting something) ive already wrote down all of the 2 digit numbers in the MW that were not on the list that Kevin posted
thanks for the help

MN is Great Plains

FYI there is no place to look to see what numbers are available. Just put down what you want three exact numbers, odd/even, lowest number, something ending/beginning in "x" or contains "xy"

I crashed one time at Blackhawk and when I got back to the pits I asked myself that EXACT same thing...
