1099's - taxes

Has anyone gotten one from CCS yet, I talked to someone(I think Eric) down in Texas and they said I needed to call Clearchannel, I did - left a message and no return call. I figure it's because they don't really have any obligations to CCS/ASRA anymore...Supposedly they were supposed to mailed out by the end of the month(Today) - I know were all in the same boat, it's hard to start a season or build a bike without any money.....    JW

Scotty, did you get more than $600 in purse money in 2005?  If not, don't expect a 1099.

FWIW, I got mine from Honda yesterday (if anybody else was waiting on one)

Thats the thing Jeff, out of everything I kept track of I forgot to keep tack of winnings.....So I'm not sure....I want to go and get my taxes taken care of ASAP but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot....

Scott, there are only a few actual purse paying classes (certs don't count here).  Go back through last year's results for them and figure out how much you 'made'.

I forget where the results are, but I think they're out there somewhere.  It'll probably take you an hour or two to go through them all, but it's easier than waiting for a phone that isn't going to ring...

1099's must be post marked by Jan 31st.  So you only have to wait a week longer to file your taxes (in case one is mailed today)
