Street crashes. Yuck. Does anyone doubt that the track is safer? And not one of those gross injuries would have happened if the riders had been wearing leathers.
Hey, I'll admit it. I'm a sissy. If this sport was going to flay off that much of MY SKIN, I wouldn't participate. Makes you wonder why anyone with internet access would ride without leathers?
Another thing. The shot of paramedics surrounding a downed rider, packages of medical supplies open everywhere, goo oozing out onto the pavement.
I've seen that too many times on the street, but never at the track. Track riders might get broken or knocked out, but they don't get ripped to pieces and emptied of their vital fluids. Let's here it for clear runoff areas and no cars or oncoming traffic! That video showed about as many mashed bikes as you'd usually see on the crash truck during a bad weekend at Blackhawk, but I'll bet at least 50% of those riders died.
(Vulture that I am, I was doing the 3 second apprasal on each bike, wanting to buy it for salvage so I could fix it and race it. I'm sick, I know....)

Yea I seen that one also ;) The crash video I showed to some newbe riders with about 6months or less under there belt riding that are already dreamin of stunting and what not.. Thought a bit of reality check without the pain would help em. 8)
