What're the conditions of the lakes in Wisconsin rite now? I'm really looking forward to my first year of riding on the ice. Unfortunately I'm in Japan until the 14th.

Thanks

Lots of snow on top, still open waters, would be difficult to quad plow even if it's thick enough yet.  Probably going to need a truck plow to get started, and more depth to support a vehicle.

I doubt anyone will be out before you get back  ;D

They are out today from as far south as Mantiwoc on up north hey!

Last I heard about Koshgenong is that its not froze over yet in spots and isnt thick enough for other than maybe walking a short distance.

SWEET!  :o

When I get back it will probably take me 2 days to spoo*n the f**cking ice tires on anyway >:(

I was standing on the ice while they plowed the road course at http://www.sportsmanspark.net on Delavan Lake.

I would have ridden Saturday, but my TTR90 wasn't ready.

Riders were coming later that afternoon and on Sunday.

TTR90 Dave? Easy big fella, that kinda displacement could be trouble.....even for a seasoned expert like yourself! ;D

What were they plowing with, quad or truck?

Super Dave

They jumped a Yamaha utility vehicle, kind of like a Kaw Mule, from the bank to the icy lake...

Ice was good.  But it's shallow along there where they put the track.
