So I'm reading the online news this morning.  Seems this Australian guy got busted smuggling 12  ounces (TWELVE OUNCES!) of Horse out of Singapore.  Well, no caining for this guy.  The penalty for this crime in Singapore is death by hanging.  The Ausse government appealed, but the man was executed anyway.
So here's the kicker.  I'm reading my way down the screen, and I come to this quote.

Julian McMahon, one of his Australian lawyers, said Nguyen was "completely rehabilitated, completely reformed, completely focused on doing what is good and now they are going to kill him."


Funny how being convicted of heroin smuggling and sentanced to death by hanging can make you see the light.  What a shame they didn't pat him gently on the wrist, tell him they were just kidding, and let him go home to Austrailia.  How barbaric! ::)

Is that a lot?  Or is it more like a pony?  Convert that to units I understand, like 5ths, liters, or something... ;)  Still, I wouldn't want to get hung over a cacktail.....bad pun Dave, baaaaaad..... :P
