Anyone know if ccs will add beaverun to the schedule this yea?   Its a very fun, fast track with lots of run off and a good surface.  WERA gets a pretty good turn out there for two weekends.  We even had about 20 entries in the c classes when we raced in the snow last April.

Man, I LOVE that track!  I agree with all you stated except for the lots of run off part.  That armco in the "high impact" areas.

BeaveRun, Nelson & Grattan!  If only Gingerman was in there too.  Look familiar?

The armco pretty far from the edge of the track.  In three seasons, I have yet to hear of someone hitting it.

That may be, but it still is in the line of vision enough to play on the minds of many.  Just venture over to the WERA board and do a search, you'll see what I mmean.

But don't get me wrong.  As I started out writing, I love that track.

No Beaver,

The track has a very low db limit with a pretty high per violation fine, currently unenforced but part of the contract. If the db limit or location of possible testing changes then maybe in 07.

I doubt that db thing would be enforced.  CCS needs to go there.  It would be great.  And as for the Armco, the place isnt any worse than SP T-3 or T-4 or T-8 and hell, CCS races at Shanendoah right?  Why doesnt CCS talk to beaver again and see what they can do..thats a great idea!!

Oh ooohhhh......

What's the story, Mark?

They were picking on the Buell guys HARD! They nailed Dan Bilanski, Clint Brotz, Dave Estoke, and I think one more. I got lucky! I broke the force header the round before and I put a stock header on and a new canister.

Those guys messed with there exhaust systems trying to make it legal ALL DAY that Saturday before the FUSA rounds on Sunday. It was just one more thing that went south that weekend becides the clearing of the paddock by the ever popular Kevin Elliot.

We were treated like red headed bastard children by the staff at Autobahn. I doubt that i will ever go back to that facility any time soon if ever.

It was just an all around bad experiance and lousy time by a facility that obviously did not like or want us there.

To say that it isnt any worse than SP is an understatement.  It is in fact much safer than sp.  As far as the decible limit goes, I have ridden there 20 plus times, all with a full aftermarket exhaust, and have never even heard mention of a decibel limit.

Me too.  I think thats just in the agreement to keep the neighbors happy that live 10 miles away ;)  And it is safer than SP IMHO
