The Day that we started driving I was thinking to myself (God why didn't I Fly).
But the Drive Went well we stopped 11 times to fill up with fuel to eat and Since some people ( I'm not going to say David's  Name)  have small blathers We also Had to pull over many of times, But the trip ended at the entrance to Daytona.
Driving into The infield of Daytona Speedway I was like a Kid On Christmas Day, Setting up the Pit getting The Bikes Ready Making Sure Everything Was Good And It was. I didn't know How Well David Stone was going to do At Daytona Knowing That he had never stepped foot on to this track, the first time out he did ok and he came in and said to me that he about crapped his pants And I new why, First time Riders on Any track Always Take it SLOW....... Understandable, But Not on The High banking of Daytona, So I forgot to tell him About that little detail ( MY BAD ).....
So anyhow As the day went on making changes to the bike was much smoother than expected. David Was A Bit Leary When I Told Him that The Chain needed to be adjusted but not in the way you would normally adjust it, It needed to be A lot Loser than normal. At the end of the first David Was Down To The 1.50's    Not to bad for an Old Man...
Ahhh To Main street DAYTONA WOW!!!!   What A Place At Night Bikes half naked females ( On all make and models bikes ) And oh ya did I forget to tell you about all the females OMG!..........    And this is Thursday Ya It gets better...

Day two..
Practice goes well. David feels good about everything . Am GTU David's First race Good to go. He Is On pole At the start of the race Green Flag................................
Great start until David Calls him MR AMA Goes by him before turn one  No big deal...
The race goes on And David WINS!!!!! I'm not going to get in to details about all the races though out the next three days but David wins two more races And One DNF.. Outstanding in my books for his first year of racing ....

I just wanted to Tell you a little bit about the race of Champions .
It's not just about who showed up or who was the fastest it's about everybody coming together like a family reunion once every year . I had the time of my life And I want to thank Everybody With CCS for there hard work. And most of all I want to thank CCS South west for the best racing Of all......

I will be Going to Daytona Next year So I can say it was worth 83 hours of driving there and back the 2300.00 in fuel all the stops to let daveee go pee the fattening but very good food we ate in Texas All the wonderful people we met...

I wanted to type more but I like not telling everything that happened while I was in Daytona..( HE HE HE ) I'm Bad I really Am...

Thanks You CCS And David Stone # 25 for some good times......
