Hey, i see kawi is coming out with this new parralel twin ninja 650. looks cool. any of you SV650 fans thinking of switching to the new ninja????

There isnt anything on them that would be an improvement over an SV, and they are ugly too. No need to switch, an SV is still gong to kick its butt.;D

I'd hold off on an opinion on which one is better until it's released.  As for trading, no plans on it yet.  That bike is still new and if the aftermarket doesn't put out some go fast goodies it won't matter to racers.  And they won't do that until it sells a lot.

I just wish we got the Euro spec naked version as well.  Kawi made a great looking trellis like frame and hides it behind the butt ugliest bodywork.  

You can bet all the major mags will have comparos on these two within a month of it's release.  It's aimed squarely at the SV in market, which I like because now there is some competition.

well, i know kawi is known for good contingency plans. and in their contingency ad in RRW, they mentioned the ninja 650 as being applicable for certain races. does suz have any contingency rewards for the SV?

Yeah, Suzuki pays in LWSS.  Kawi apparently is paying in LWSS or LWSB...you pick.  But its nice to know that you can build a SB and get some dollars.
