I raced Wera this year and would like to run the CCS Gingerman round in October.  I downloaded the forms today and was wondering if I should send them in or just bring them to the track.  If I bring them to the track, will I be able to get my license, register, tech and race?

Is there anything I need different from Wera?  I heard we have to mount transponders on the tail section.  Anything else?

Thanks

I would just take it to the track...you can do everything there...and be able to race that day. As long as your WERA license is current you're good to go. and Yes the Transponder is tail mount. You can get the holder at registration when you get your license and register,.they'll also issue a transponder for the weekends event. You'll have to return it before you leave.

Cool, Thanks.  What tire service companies will be there?

What kind of bike? R6 requires side covers, GSXR and R1 left side cover (current models; some older models also are required check rulebook)

Send in the forms now.

Heavy Penny, eh?

Is that you Jig?  Didn't you ride w/ CCS at G-man last October?  Did damned well too as I recall.

Nope, not Jig but the original Heavy Penny!!  This is Mike, I went to all the NC races with Jig this year.  I ride an 02 R6, usually painted something different every weekend.

Jig should be there corner work'n.  He doesn't have a bike anymore.

H-man

Yeah, I saw he was sellin' his Vesrah bike. :o

I just guessed he either has a new one or one's on the way.

what if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?

Oh yeah baby.  I LOVE the FZ1!

I picked mine up in early June and have put 1,500 happy miles on it so far.

If you haven't already, you MUST do the Ivan carb kit.

I'm going back and forth about attending the STT days on 10/1-2.

I too may just be doing the CW thing on the 16th.  Being as slow as I am has discouraged me to hang it up until I can wick it up some more.
