Topic of concern:
Entrance to ACC on Thursday/Friday night after 10:00pm

I spoke with Mark, the assistant track manager and asked about entrance to the track after 10pm.  He said basically that they will do what they can to let people in around the clock, but CCS controls this.

My concern is that ACC has VERY limited parking outside the gate, and the access road is not large enough to park a vehicle on overnight.  The last weekend, the lot was overflowing.  This weekend will be FAR worse!

I understand that you need people to sign the releases and PAY the gate fee.  However, this is possible at BHF around the clock, so why can it not be worked out at ACC?  Or work an alternative (take my driver's license, etc).

ACC is obviously a challenge as there are 2 tracks, and you (CCS) only control a portion of the activity, so not everyone will be paying your fees, following your rules, etc.  Definitely not the ideal situation.  However, PLEASE think of the racers here and do something TODAY to ensure we can get in around the clock.

Isn't there an entrance to the cemetary beyond the gate?  Don't know if you could get your rig through there or if they'd want to allow access from that point tho...

Thorny, I hear you, and I made arrangements so I will be there before 10.  However, I made the statement with the consideration of EVERYONE who will be coming...  If you come down, whether you get in or not, tomorrow AM and Sat AM, you will see what I'm talking about.  It isn't pretty...

I aint coming down. Due to the fact that gas is still $3.10 a gal. up here I may never leave my house again. That would put me into as much $ to get there as it used to cost for me to do a rip off R.A. weekend for regional points. (ROC prices for regional points at RA in the snow in April)
