Just wondering whats it take to get an ama license? I know you have to get so many points in expert to get it, but how many??

I love how WERA events are worth more than CCS.

What does it mean under CCS for "Sanctioned Events"? Is that only FUSA rounds? Also is that points accumulated in a year, or just over time?

CCS events are CCS Sanctioned events so yes, they count.

I don't know if you have to do it in one year (I would think you would).  Stumpy had enough points by the middle of 2004.  The hitch is there has to be at least 16 people on the grid. Just keep track of it as you go and it's not a big deal to put together.

and 35 bike 2-wave grids don't count.  ;D

So at this cuurent rate it will take me ummm about 10 years to get my AMA license.  :P ;D

I seem to remember Colin Edwards going straight from AM to the AMA in 92(?).  So there's another way to ge the license : Just go to the GNF and win 10 races all on your stock CBR F2, they'll move you right up!  ;)
