Glad to see they're getting an early start on the project.  Just wondering if you'll get to run it for something more than Track Days next year Randy.  With all the improvements are they going to price themselves out of the market for bike races?

There have been rumors that CCS may not be going back.  Must be some question as to whether the improvements will bring back enough riders to make it worth the effort.

I hope CCS includes it in the schedule next season. With the launch ramp removed from the front straight and new smooth and consistent asphalt it will be a fun and safer track to race on. Dean/Track Addix is doing a TD there this fall after all the renovations are completed (October?), I will check it out then. And with Gateway off the schedule, if they don't go to Topeka, the closest track is 5 hours away for me!
Rick, you going to Barber?

Wasn't originally in my plans.

The way things are going at work lately I may have lots of free time coming up :(

If I've got the time, I might ride my bike down.  Not sure about camping or motel.  I did the camping at Barber thing in September a couple years ago and it was ok. Camping in Alabama in August may be a different story.  Did you guys find a decent place?

Nooo, don't take out the jump! Just increase the runoff and move the start / finish line.

I understand that they are shaving the crest of the jump down, pics seem to support that.
Rick, we are at the Hampton Inn near the track, will probably get a second room so we can probably fit you in on Tim's air mattress if you make the journey. At this moment the truck/trailer is full of bikes and racers or else we would offer you a ride down. If we end up taking another vehicle I'll let you know (leaving Wednesday morning).

Michael's Buell is going to take Nurse Dave's spot if he doesn't race. BTW, I won at RA with my 36-36 advantage strategy, 36ccs and 36lbs  ;D
Let me know about your plastic, would be happy to get it repaired for you but can't guarantee your R6 won't look like a Pacer or Gremlin when I am done with it. I can meet you at Kingdom City no problem. I don't have business travel until after Barber. Just let me know.
