Check out the NESBA web site, there was a bad hi-side in 5. Look under track talk, Midwest members.  Don't know him, but offering prayers.

I've met Shannon... he was a very cool guy.  Had a wife and two beautiful little girls that he absolutely doted upon.

Shannon was a great guy and will be missed! He always had a smile and a helping hand. God speed my friend!

Just went through some of the other threads to see what has been happening as the last 2 responses here were bleak.

Apparently Shannon suffered a stroke on 8/4 and passed on August 5, 2005 at 4:05am.

For the rest who don't want to dig for details, from what I read, he highsided in T5 and was struck by another motorcycle at full speed...  :'(
