AMA Mid-Ohio CCS Team(s)

Howdy all!  I've just received the paperwork from AMA about having a team represent us at their Mid Ohio weekend.  So, to be fair, anyone that wants to ride on our representative team, please email me over this weekend.  When I arrive Monday I will go over the requests and create one, possibly two teams.  Please give compelling reasons why you should represent, and I'll make sure everyone gets a fair shot.  Remember, not everyone will make it, it's more like a first-come, first-serve deal.

As of this morning, I have received no emails.  I guess that means no one is interested in the $350 AMA offers you just to show up...

While I would love nothing better than to do this, unfortunately my schedule won't permit it.

I do hope we get some good folks to jump on the offer though.  I'd hate to see it wasted.

What exactly are we talking about here, Tiff?  Dave Vaughn and I are going to be there that weekend, and are coaching for STT on Thursday.  Somehow I don't think my enormous @$$ needs to be riding a stock SV650 around at an AMA race, but Dave has been pretty bloody fast lately on his mangy old 99 R6....
So what's the deal?

Here's the deal: If you compete in one of AMA's premier classes over that weekend, and you're on the CCS team, you (the team) will receive $350 just for showing up and competing.

Is this race the AMA Pro race or the AMA Road Race Grand Championship (both race at Mid-Ohio)?

Hey, Your freindly neighborhood Matt Drucker will be there to qualify for the AMA pro Stuff. I also Know that Dan Doty will also be there qualifying for  Formula Extreme

I did speak to Purk at Laguna, He stated he is not fond of mid ohio and at that time was not going to race the national there.
