Who was it that made their own?  I thought I remembered reading about it awhile back.  I would like to pick up some for the front of my 01 Sv if anyone has them.

                Thanks!

I made my own wheel spacers (front, rear, and between the bearings). My are for an 03.

Just get yourself some aluminum (I prefer something like 7075 rather than 6061 - tends to mushroom with use) and be nice to someone you know with access to a lathe.

I got mine from Pit Bull.  Seemed strange that they make/sell something so far removed from their primary product, but it works great.  My bike is an 03, but they're supposed to work on 1st gen SV's too.

Never destoyed a spacer so I don't make extra. I would make you one, but I have more access to a lathe during the school year than during the summer (due to my schedule at the shop I work at part time).

I picked mine up from PitBull.  Anybody have a good idea on how to make them stay in place when changing the front..

Can't seem to figure out a way to keep it on easily.

I've had that problem too.  Now that you mention it, some strategically (and temporarily) placed duct tape might be enough to hold in place while installing the axle.

Thanks all, I ended up getting them from Pitbull (a while ago  ;) )  A tip for keeping the space in place is a bit of some ol sticky grease....   ;)
