is it me or he sits at night reading a thesaurus?? or does he have a word of the day toilet paper...

i counted the times he said expeditiously and it was over 100, every other word was "expeditiously" and i almost lost it when he called a red flag the "crimson flag"  we were laughing the whole time, he sure was amusing...

You think it's funny when he screw's up the call's for the races. You should have counted that.

Don't make fun of 'special' people, you cruel, heartless bstrd. Just look at the poor guy before you go and make fun of someone.

He says "Crimson Flag" because the freq somtimes bleeds over to the C/W freq and could cause the C/Ws to throw a "RED" when the track is still GREEN..

That was explained this wk-end @ Summit...We told him that some jackass named Fever wanted to know... ;D

he was funny but he did screw up on the race calls a bit, he appologizzed for it too... one thing that bothered me was when he called 3rd call and he had us sitting there for 10 minutes the next race i show up 1 min after the call and had to start for pit road  >:(

Hey Griff,

I keep track of everything with my scanners. Yes two, one that stays in my pit, the other I carry around when moving about the paddock.  It definitely helps with timing my preparation.  Now if you could tell me what frequency your wireless mic transmits on I'd be set.  It can be hard to hear announcements when not close to a speaker.

If you don't know the freq, I believe there may be an FCC Id # on it somewhere.  I can look that up to get the freq.  Thanks.

gma

My personal mic is 776.150 MHz.

At times, I use one provided to me by whichever track I'm at and might not know the freq. As a general rule, I try to use my own.

Hope this helps and thank you for validating my offering.
