Update on Eric Pelley #11 aka 1st place superman

Hey everyone, this is jen!  I know that you all are probably wonder how eric is doing.  He was able to come home from the hospital yestarday at about noon.  His surgery on sunday went fine took them a little longer than they had planned but he got out of surgery at around 3.  They ended up putting a plate and some bolts in his upper arm and hopefully that will recover good on its own.  There is a 10% chance that it wont but were not hoping for that.  He has a broken upper arm, his collar bone is also broke but they said that will heal on its own since his arm is in the sling. His head is pretty bruised up along with his neck and his legs.  The C7 in his neck was not broke just bruised.  He doesn't remember anything that happened which in a way is good....not even the helicopter ride.  We are still planning on going to laguna seca and he probably wont be able to ride in vegas but he will be out there to support all of you.  Thank you to CCS, medical staff and the corner workers for your help and making CCS a safe place to race!  If you would like to contact eric give him a call at (602)312-1018 or email at eric19az@yahoo.com
