QuoteHey R1owner, it's Scott (pitted right next to you).

Now I'm going to tell everyone the story:

R1owner and his brother are gridded right next to each other in the second section of the first grid (ya know how F40 has like four sections)  One board goes sideways, green waves, everyone goes.  I look back and R1 and his brother are still talking to each other on the grid!  Marshall's are screaming and waving to get their attention and they finally take off about the time everyone else exits T1.

It was hilarious!  Seriously, it was an easy mistake, us amateurs are just too used to always being in the second wave.

Hope you had a great trip home, see you at the next BHF.

lol!

Rain rocks.  I found all sorts of new lines in ULSS.  Found a little more confidence in every soggy lap, too.  I think Sunday was just about the most fun I've ever had racing.

CCS AM 815... or was that 158?

I had my best finish on DOTs in the first rain race...I'm becoming a fan of it myself.  It's the in between crap that I didn't like.  I had a hard time telling the difference between the dryish areas and the wet areas, plus puddle hunting to keep my rains cool wasn't any fun either...

I was right behind both of you. When the 2min brd
was displayed and you guys were just sitting shooting
the s$$t I was thinking WTF ! :o

It took me until 1/2 a lap thinking oh f$%K I jumped the start. But wait, so did alot of others.
I was just hoping no body behind me was going to
ram me as I rode around you on the right.

Sorry for making you worry.  This was my first F40 race.  I had no idea they started like that.  I apologize to any and all that I may have freaked out.

It would have made a much better vid if I had that camera mounted on my helmet.

About the time I was going to pass Ed Key, I fell down. ;D :-[

That explains everything!  You got so excited at the idea of passing him that some unknown slippery fluid from who knows where made it's way down to your rear tire and, "WHOOP, there it is!" ;D

Not the rear. It wasn't touching the ground at the time..........oh, I think that explains things. :-[
