I just picked up a set of forks for my YZF750 after the stock ones decided to dump oil out of the seal. (lower slider chrome is toast on teh left leg).

Well heres the question. Is there a way to tell if the forks have been revalved other than tearing them apart? I tried to compress one and it was ALOT stiffer than my good stock fork. I could barely move it.

Over full with oil?  Different spring?  Slightly bent?

Tear it apart.
