yep, we still have it. last year it was the July weekend at BIR.

you want to talk closing speeds? try the CRA endurance. ultralight and unlimiteds on the track at the same time, for 5 hours and a 4700ft front straight.  ;D

Yep. I've done the CRA 5-Hour on a GS500. And a 600 Superbike. Big time differences in speed. But a really fun race...

One year some guys from Polaris entered a Victory. That thing needed a slow moving vehicle triangle!

they ran that in 2003 and 2004. i swear i lapped that thin every 3 laps, and we weren't even pushing very hard.
 the last few years, the ultralight guys have been required to wear the orange new rider shirts so the faster bikes knew who they were closing in on.

Most of the fast guys are also AMA regulars like Nicky Moore, Scott Jensen, Mark Ledesma, Chad Rolland (21st at Sears in supersport), Robert Jensen, any of the Woods, Scott Greenwood, Himmelsbach, Tristan Schoenwald, etc.

There's also a bunch of fast guys that don't race AMA like Lasky, AJ Amman, Dale Kiefer, etc

and thats just out west...

How bout Larry Denning. Chasin the contingency $$ Scott Harwell?

M. Smith would be cherry picking CCS since he was a former factory rider :D
