I have experience with my own clutch, no others though.  Mine is an Erion, don't know how it differs from others.  It does have a stop to hold the ball in place.

I can give you one piece of advice my mechanic gave me as I was installing mine...put some simple axle grease on the balls to make them "stick" in place while installing it all.  :)

I have one.  I installed it myself.  The only problems were related to my ignorance in the difference of the 03/04 and 05 clutches inside the Honda.  Nothing big.

Install is simple, it's very straight forward.  You will need something to hold the drum whether you use an impact wrench (highly recommended) or not.

If you've never taken a clutch out and do not consider yourself reasonably mechanically inclined, take it somewhere to have it done.

It's not difficult, but mistakes can be unbelievably costly..

I installed the slipper in less than an hour by myself..Impact is necessary..but you do not need to hold the drum when using the impact..Careful only when tightening the nut when installing..Easy installation..and the STM comes with illustration and directions... I just did it a month ago for my sons race bike, he loves it.  Rev matching is not required
