On Friday at Road America, in the GTU race (race #5) on lap 4 (i was in 9th place) I had a highside in the bend (turn 11).

Did anyone get video or pics of it?  I'd be happy to buy them if you have pics or video.

If anyone saw it happen, Can you tell me what happened?

thanks!!

I saved a highside there myself... the track goes off camber on the outside at the end of the bend, anytime I ran wide there I would spin up the rear a bit.  I bet thats where you lost it.

good to hear your ok!

I had just showed up and was trying to get Stumpy's attention (he was marking his territory after his crash).  Then I looked over and there you were in the middle of the track. I missed your crash, but I have to say you and Stumpy did a fine job of moving your own bikes out of the middle of the track without a red flag.   :-/

Sorry you crashed, Pierre.

After I fell, I was relieving myself down behind the tire wall, I hear a screech then the sound of fiberglass crunching(I hate that noise) I just missed the action of seeing you launch. I kinda thought you stopped by just to chat, because you missed me. Anyway glad your O.K. and the bikes O.K.

Aw I remember that crash I was watching from control and they were debating the red flag as one rider disappeared off screen just as the other was crashing and camera was following rider over to the tires. wondered what was going on. I thought this was on Saturday but time blends together and could there have been incidents where two riders crashed within half lap of each other and the first goes to take a leak on the tires?
From what I could tell the rear end just came around and bike spun to a stop in the middle of the track. but the camera was panning and zooming at the time so not 100% sure of how it happened. looked to happen about half way between bend and the old kink with bike stopping almost at the pavement change.
