Road Racer X VS. Road Racing World

Hey, i just bought a subsription to Road Racing X online last night. but today i found this road racing world magazine, and it seems to be more informative for the everyday racer. Road Racer X seemed to be more about news and such on AMA and MotoGP, but that may have been that one issue i was reading.

Whats your guys opinion? SHould i call up and ditch road racer x and buy a subscription to road racing world or just stick with RRX?

We subscribe to both.  RRW is the magazine for club racing coverage.  I really like RRX's articles, too, plus the photographs are great.

RRX is an ethusist (read: fan) oriented magazine.  RRW is a racer oriented magazine.  People from both groups read and enjoy both mags.

I personally read RRW.

i would like to subsribe to both but i cant. i think im going to call up rrx and switch to rrw. i got rrx to learn more about racing so i would know more when i go to race myself. rrw seems to fill that profile better. altho i did like dirt race x or whatever it was for dirtbikes, and i was glad to see a road racing version.

It sounds like you've got it right then.  You won't see much about club racing in RRX, but you will in RRW.  I subscribe to both, but I look more forward to RRW because I get to read about people I know and even race against.  Even better, I'll most likely be writing articles this year for RRW.  ;D  (JU said my article will probably get published in this next month's addition...but no promises.)

RRW has the best info.  Road Racer X is pretty and they do have some interesting articles, but I can't really say I have learned anything from it.
