F-40 and lightweight SBs in the same race. Maybe I am a puss but - I am already racing SB with my SS machine. Its a bit unerving to have unlimited SBs flying by the whole race. Any thoughts perhaps I am misreading this.
Just hold your line an you will be fine.

I guess my sphincter is tight cause this is the first race of the year and my first expert race. I love CMP. I just hate the tought of having to repeatedly pass the 1Ks as the anchors come out at the technical parts- that and the worroies assocaited with faster bikes and #10 at 130 mph.

Just know that they are only faster on the straight.
those 1000's tend to take the turns real slow and they break early. Simply pass them over Alpha ;)
Alex Locker won some races hu? Good Job.

Yep, that. They paired F40 with FMMW a few times and while the old farts are really really fast, they're also generally a bit better riders in general than the knuckleheads in the regular middleweight classes. If the waves are properly spaced, you shouldn't have to worry too much about catching too many of the AM's, and since you're an EX, you probably don't have to worry too much about getting lapped.
Dave - I guess you're not riding ULSB that weekend too? I'd rather be with F40 than with HWSS...

Don't forget you'll be one of those "old farts" too one day....
I know it's a twin-sprints weekend, which makes it more likely that one might have to run back-to-back races, but I have two instances of 3 races in a row on Saturday, then again on Sunday. I'll be running MW Formula 40, Supertwins, MW Superbike, and HW Superbike.
Is anyone else finding themselves with this situation?

My husband is one already, and I'm almost there. :P
Don't mean to threadjack, but figured I could add a question onto this thread. I see the several of the same classes racing both Saturday and Sunday at CMP.. Is that something that still has to get finalized? How does that work?
Thanks,
John

It's a twin sprint weekend, which means all the CCS sprint races are run twice.
Same price for gas and tolls - Now with Twice the races!
Love twin sprints, but on a TC weekend it's a bit aggressive !

And you pay twice too. (fine detail that I thought I would add to the conversation)
Oh okay. But I pre-registered for this and did not specify two races... No clue what they charged me either lol..

In addition to worrying too much I am also one of the old farts.

Call the office and let them know. Not sure if they'll let you have the grid positions from your earlier pre-entry, but you'll still be better off than trying to get it worked out at the track.
Thanks everyone, I will call them tomorrow to see.
