I need the photos of Ed Key getting a lift during Friday practice at BHF. I was told that there is photographic evidence of this error in judgement. If anyone knows who was taking pictures let me know. If anyone would care to document the conversations taking place on the corner workers radios that would be good. I understand there was interesting things being said that make the story even better.

Is this a Mr. Potato Head entry?

Is this a rhetorical question? LOL!!!

You cannot make a post like this and not tell the story!

Here ya go!!
Mr. Key was re-jetting his carburetors and (forgot to connect his fuel line). He went out for a practice session and ran out of fuel in the float bowls by turn on at BHF. He coasted to a stop and leaned his bike up against a fence between turns 1 and 2. Another (unknown) rider sees Ed is broke down and stops to offer him a lift back to the pits. Ed accepted said ride, causing a lot of communication amongst the corner working staff (this area is to be filled in with the communication details authored by M Jays dad) and subsequently leading to a full course waving yellow. They casually made their way around the track right in front of me and exited the track at turn 5, which is also strictly prohibited at BHF and is discussed at every riders meeting.
:pop:
I predict that the current Mr potato head may be trading his prize back and forth with Mr Key over the next few years....

I believe those are in the Photo Shop getting touched up to protect the innocent, errummhmm, the uninformed. Every rider's meeting it's mentioned? :spank:
Yeah but I heard the rider of the pick-up bike was hoping to get a reach-a-round.
Pictures? Hard to miss this one. :wtf:

TOP 10 REASONS I DECIDED TO ACCEPT A RIDE BACK TO THE PITS
10. It would have been rude to turn it down.
9. I'm looking to become the first multi-time Potato Head.
8. A man my age running all the way back to the pits from turn 2 would have suffered a heart attack.
7. I've been so upset lately thinking about Paris Hiltons' incarceration I wasn't thinking clearly.
6. As I'm suffering from early onset Alzheimer's I may have gotten lost on foot.
5. There's nothing about 2-up in the CCS rulebook.
4. After pushing my incredibly heavy SV tens of yards I was lightheaded and there was sweat dripping into my eyes. I glanced up and thought I saw Lil Natey offering to make amends.
3. My left foot hurt.
2. I try to do something incredibly stupid at least once a week.
1. I have recently bumped my head.
Ed Key
LOL!!!! Love the top 10 Ed!!!!
I forgot to mention that Bill Fermann made Ed walk back to his bike to pick it up. That kinda makes the worthiness of the whole ride seem questionable... well except for our entertainment at Ed's expense :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
:lmao:
Quote5. There's nothing about 2-up in the CCS rulebook.
Actually, I think Ed has a very good point about this one. Isn't the structure of the CCS rules that if it doesn't say you can't then you can?

Yes, this is a valid point. However, I for one would not want to debate it one-on-one with Mr. Fehrman. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT being called to the tower to discuss such infractions with the Race Director, or to debate the two-up absence from the R&Rs, or the absence of a Gold Wing Class in order to run your 1800 Honda with your dog Fluffy in the tank bag!
(don't ask for your cabbie's license back at the end of the weekend either)
Pic of Ed riding on the back of Todd's bike - Priceless
Ed's top 10 list - Priceless-er
Good stuff!
Todd why are you grinning under the helmet?:lmao:

The fact that you even KNOW who Paris Hilton is disturbs me greatly.

Gosh Mark,
It's funny you should ask?! The Midwestern Amsoil/LP/Michelin/Suzuki/Tekbolt/Vortex/VP on-track Cabbies Association only uses those great #'s sold in the Classies by the great guys from Race Prep!
(great work by the way. can we discuss comps at RA?)

Guy,
The Wabbit Season/Duck Season thing is from an old Warner Bros. Cartoon....Bugs and Daffy are arguing over which season it is so Elmer Fudd will shoot the other one....
Todd....Thanks for the follow up shameless plug....we will discuss comps at Road America...
Where
Road Race Prep would be thrilled to deliver any sticker/decal work along you may need with them. ( more shameless plug )

Ed you have a really great sense of humor. That list should be one of David Letterman's top ten lists.
