What is the value of my Lockhart Phillips V.I.P. Complimentary Entry coupon?
Answer - Use this to pay for one CCS class entry (pre or post) - $75 maximum - one per rider per weekend. No change will be given back. Cannot be used for Daytona or New Hampshire entries. Other restrictions apply. See coupon for details.
If the V.I.P entry is $75 maximum (pre or post) and post entry is $80 :ahhh:
am I missing something here? or do you have to add $5
I think you're right.
Where do I get a $75 VIP?

Been there. Never had anything is stock that I needed, then I had to go else where. Others might have had better luck.
I just did it so I could be famous when I walked into dealers and said "you may know me from page XYZ of the Lockhart Phillips catalog"..
LOL...
True story, I had a guy email me a picture of a calendar in China where I was the July picture... Funny...

That's actually pretty cool.
So is it worth joining their privateer program?? I don't see any tangible benefits
Maybe for colored aluminum sprocket nuts or if your bike is common and a model that isn't new.
So Dave, you're saying LP is the best place to find replacement nuts? I've always had a good experience with LP. If you know what you need, don't mind running a sticker and like free race entries, can't go wrong. Plus impress all of your non-racing friends with a cool catalog picture or two.
I got nuts.
So, what you're thinking is that maybe I should really sponsor you?
:pop:
I have heard bad things about the availability as well... never bothered to sign up. Guess it would be worth it for a free race...
Yes, but you'll be required to have three two foot by two foot logos on the bike. :err:
do they come in any color I want???
I pick clear! 8)
Availability is crap, and I can find nuts elsewhere. I've never been impressed with LP, though I've never signed up for the privateer program.

Dave, don't be such a hater.
Have been part of the Lockhart Phillips program for years. Great people great products and I've had very good luck with in-stock and quick shipping and my bikes are always new.
:kicknuts:
Hater?
When we started this foolishness in 1987, we were in the program. I needed boots. Boots they had in the catalog never became available. "Backordered"
Ordered different boots.
Fast forward to 2000. Someone we knew worked there. So, things were supposed to be different. The windscreen that we were promised at contract time in Jan/Feb came off backorder in Sep/Oct.
Tried ordering things here and there from them. but maybe I'm just the only unluckyone. :whine:
So Dave, you were still trying to get windscreens in 2000 for your 1987 bike? lol
You're sponsored, Bucky... :spank:
I'm allergic to nuts :wtf: So what do I get out of this deal?????
You get a plane ticket.

Jeff,
They took an interest in your photo because your name translates into Chinese as:
"Man who uses Squid juice to lubricate motorcyle" :lmao:
We don't get shite in NH.
Why?
I think their program is a great service for racers. I think they are a lot better than they used to be about having items in stock. In fact you can check stock online, if they don't have it than order it somewhere else. It doesn't cost anything other than a small sticker on your bike and you get everything at dealer cost to start with and then get moved up to better programs from there., how can you beat that deal for free? And the cool thing of course is being able to get your picture in the catalog and you can get a free entry into a race every year. I like when someone says it is crap, but then follows up with "Though I never signed up for the program". I think one of the CCS racers here got LP Privateer of the year and received a couple grand at the end of the year. Who was that?
+1 :thumb:
so how many VIP race entry tickets do they give you if you in the program

These have been discontinued. Evidently Lockhart Phillips is reducing their allotment to CCS .. because AMA increased their sponsorship fees. ( .. scream .. NOT FAIR)
Guess I am the opposite, I order they ship I receive. Get general discount based on volume. Privater program is easy and you just have to send in quarterly results.
Maybe I am not ordering the right items but so far never had a problem.
i'm a newbie and it was the first program i signed up for. the motorcycle shops here would give me good discounts, but it's really easy to thumb through the catalog and see the pricing and make up a wishlist. i've saved a bundle on parts and only had a few insignificant items not in stock.
they don't carry everything under the sun, but when i can get something from them i do. i price shop a lot and i've found i can get stuff new from them for less than on ebay, sometimes significantly less. their customer service (rick for me) has always been outstanding, giving me everything i need.
plus they give this deal to a guy like me who hasn't even raced in his first race yet!
